Business Development Opportunity

About the Role:

This is a business development opportunity with a leading brand of kitchen appliances and cookware in India. Our company is known for innovation, quality, and design of its products, aggressive marketing, and Omni-Channel distribution strategy.

We have been funded by multiple Private Equity Investors and led by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor as our brand ambassador.

Our team is driven by a passion for providing top-notch products to our customers and we are seeking a talented individual to join us as a Business Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and approach potential partners to collaborate on expanding our market reach

• Present our business model effectively, highlighting benefits, responsibilities, and strategic partnerships

• Negotiate terms and close agreements to onboard new partners

• Develop customized pitches tailored to each partner to secure business deals

• Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and industry trends

• Build a pipeline of prospective partners and maintain accurate tracking of all deals

• Provide regular updates to senior management on business development progress and challenges

Qualifications and Skill Set:

• MBA or equivalent degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field

• Understanding of business models and motivation of a potential partner

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships

Experience:

• 7 to 10 years of experience in business development, sales, and management in the retail sector

• Proven track record of having developed strategic partnerships across various cities
