We are looking for an accomplished Business Development Manager to oversee the launch of our new business ventures.
About the RoleThis is a dynamic position that involves managing various aspects of our business, from data management to execution and cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Data Management: Managing all business data, including individual function charters and the company's profit and loss statement.
- Execution Ownership: Collaborating with our business head to execute business plans on the ground, while also owning business outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serving as a bridge between different business functions and leadership, working closely with each function to resolve problems.
- Process Building and Productization: Creating standard operating procedures for our business and individual functions, and productizing business operations through internal technology and third-party software solutions.
- New Market Expansion: Playing a key role in expanding our business into new markets, acting as the market lead for on-ground operations during the initial expansion period.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who can adapt quickly to new contexts and develop new business skills, demonstrating a high degree of ownership and excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
To succeed in this role, you should possess a bachelor's degree from a top-tier university and an MBA from a reputable institution, with 1-5 years of work experience in sales and program management, preferably in retail distribution/sales or banking and financial services. Prior project management experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, and high comfort with data dashboarding and analysis are essential requirements.
