Key Responsibilities

Identify emerging business opportunities through continuous scanning of the IoT ecosystem, focusing on new technologies, business models, competitor moves, and untapped market spaces.

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to synthesize reports on long-term trends, disruptions, and potential threats to the current business.
Market Validation & Feasibility Assessment

Validate new opportunity hypotheses through primary customer research, expert interviews, competitive analysis, and prototype testing.

  • Develop robust financial models and business cases to assess the market size, potential ROI, and strategic value of new opportunities.
Strategic Incubation & Business Building

Incubate validated opportunities by defining initial product-market fit, building minimal viable products (MVPs) or prototypes, and running pilot programs with early customers.

  • Cordinate cross-functional resources to accelerate the incubation process.
Ecosystem Engagement

Build a network of external contacts to serve as a radar for emerging innovation and potential partnership opportunities.

  • Engage with startups, academics, industry experts, and venture capitalists.
Strategic Communication

Clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to senior leadership to inform strategic investment decisions.

  • Present insights and strategies to influence key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a strategy role within a technology context.
  • Proven experience in market analysis, new venture development, or managing early-stage innovation projects.
  • Deep understanding of the IoT technology stack, competitive landscape, and key market drivers.
  • Superior analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
  • Outstanding communication and storytelling skills.
