About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at the Andaz Delhi. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning and implementing culinary operations, including menu development, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and effective food production.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest quality ingredients and products.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes that meet the expectations of our discerning guests.
  • Ensure compliance with Hyatt's Global Privacy Policy and maintain the confidentiality of guest information.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in culinary operations, leadership, and customer service.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef in a hotel or restaurant of good standards, preferably with experience in luxury international brands.
  • Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management is an advantage.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards is essential.
  • Basic Computer Skills in MS Office and Recipe Maintenance System are preferred.
