Job Title: Sous Chef

Accor is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of kitchen staff and ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Develop and implement menus, ensuring high-quality dishes and efficient food preparation.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to achieve culinary excellence and maintain high standards.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance the dining experience.
  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to plan and execute special events and functions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or restaurant.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
