Hi All,
Movate is hiring for a Technical Support Engineer Role in Bangalore with flexible working shifts.
For this position, we are looking for an individual with 2+ years of experience in a technical support role who can assist customers via phone and ticketing systems.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other Layer 2/3 networking concepts. They will also possess strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical issues clearly.
We require a self-starter and effective team player who can troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently. The ideal candidate will have a customer-centric mindset with a strong focus on service excellence.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience, is necessary for this role. The successful candidate should be able to work collaboratively with engineering teams for escalations and handle outage calls effectively.
In addition, they will have exposure to network administration, system administration, or enterprise infrastructure support. A working knowledge of Linux/Unix or Microsoft Windows Server environments is essential for this position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting customers via phone and ticketing systems
- Resolving technical issues independently
- Collaborating with engineering teams for escalations
- Handling outage calls effectively
