Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at NOVOTEL. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity and a strong background in hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP). You will be expected to work closely with our Executive Steward to maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and ensure that all equipment and perishable items are stored in their designated place.
You will also be responsible for supervising the work of kitchen personnel, training and developing them to achieve high-quality food production, and maintaining a safe working environment. Additionally, you will be required to attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings assigned by management and adhere to all safety, health, security, and loss control policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the culinary team to achieve high-quality food production and excellent guest satisfaction
- Develop and implement effective food safety and hygiene protocols to meet HACCP standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to NOVOTEL's quality and service standards
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Senior Chef or Culinary Lead in a hotel or restaurant setting
- Proven track record of success in managing culinary teams and implementing food safety and hygiene protocols
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and hotel food safety and hygiene standards
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $60,000 per year, plus benefits and bonuses. The estimated total compensation package is around $75,000 per year, depending on performance and experience.
