About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity for a skilled pastry professional to lead our culinary discipline teams and drive excellence in pastry preparation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and managing employees, ensuring consistency and quality in all pastry items produced, and adhering to health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the pastry kitchen team to achieve exceptional standards of quality, presentation, and flavour.
- Develop, design, or create new ideas and items for the pastry kitchen, ensuring they are innovative, yet feasible and profitable.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and good food handling practices.
- Servicing as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviours and promoting a positive work culture.
As an Executive Pastry Chef at Accor, you can expect:
- A competitive salary range: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area, or a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
