We are seeking an Executive Pastry Chef Manager to join our team at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai, India.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and experienced pastry chef to take on a leadership position within our culinary team.

About the Role

The Executive Pastry Chef Manager will be responsible for managing the pastry kitchen operation as a successful independent profit center.

Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the Kitchen operation and administration.

This role requires a strong background in pastry production, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as Sous Chef or 4 years as Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards;
  • Preferably with experience in luxury international brands;
  • Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management will be an advantage;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards;
  • Basic Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance System preferred;
