As an Executive Chef and Restaurant Operations Director at Fairmont, you will lead our culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your expertise in Cantonese cuisine and menu development will elevate our restaurant's reputation, while your leadership skills will inspire and motivate your team to achieve excellence.

**Job Responsibilities**

  • Lead and motivate a diverse team of restaurant staff to deliver outstanding service and uphold the highest standards.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff knowledge of Cantonese cuisine, service standards, and guest interaction skills.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, reservation management, and inventory control.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menus, ensuring innovative and authentic offerings.
  • Maintain high levels of satisfaction and foster loyalty among our guests through exceptional service.

**Qualifications and Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-end restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated track record of building and managing successful teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Sound business acumen and proficiency in financial analysis and budget management.
  • Passion for food and beverage, with a deep understanding of Cantonese cuisine and culinary trends.

**Salary Estimate**: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
