Nanik Food Pvt. ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Leader to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising kitchen operations, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Kitchen Operations:
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
- Ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards to maintain consistency and excellence in our culinary offerings.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth service and exceptional customer experience.
- Staff Supervision and Training:
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Assign duties, monitor performance, and provide training to foster teamwork and professional development.
- Encourage a positive and supportive work environment that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Food Safety and Quality:
- Ensure compliance with hygiene regulations and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Monitor food handling and storage practices to prevent contamination and ensure quality control.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to ensure we have the necessary ingredients and supplies.
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate prices and improve efficiency.
- Minimize waste and optimize usage to reduce costs and improve profitability.
- Menu Development and Cost Control:
- Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing ones.
- Monitor food costs and portion sizes to ensure we are operating within budget.
- Improve efficiency and reduce waste to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Enforce safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Address safety concerns and implement solutions to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen leadership or supervisory experience.
