Kitchen Leader

Nanik Food Pvt. ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Leader to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising kitchen operations, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Kitchen Operations:
    • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
    • Ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards to maintain consistency and excellence in our culinary offerings.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth service and exceptional customer experience.
  • Staff Supervision and Training:
    • Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
    • Assign duties, monitor performance, and provide training to foster teamwork and professional development.
    • Encourage a positive and supportive work environment that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Food Safety and Quality:
    • Ensure compliance with hygiene regulations and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
    • Monitor food handling and storage practices to prevent contamination and ensure quality control.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor inventory levels and place orders to ensure we have the necessary ingredients and supplies.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate prices and improve efficiency.
    • Minimize waste and optimize usage to reduce costs and improve profitability.
  • Menu Development and Cost Control:
    • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing ones.
    • Monitor food costs and portion sizes to ensure we are operating within budget.
    • Improve efficiency and reduce waste to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:
    • Enforce safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Address safety concerns and implement solutions to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications:

  • Previous kitchen leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge.
