
Sales and Business Development Lead

Job Opportunity
Maximize market opportunities across India by leading commercial efforts and managing business operations, including sales and market share gain for products and/or services in assigned regions within the domestic and regulated Indian market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development Strategy: Contribute to Global Accounts growth objectives by developing a BD strategy.
- Account Management: Determine strategies for selected Accounts and increase Biocon API business wallet share in India.
- Sales Growth: Grow share of business and expand relationships within the customer identifying influencers, gatekeepers, decision makers in the Indian region.
Lead sales and account management by ensuring smooth functioning of businesses and monthly order forecasting for production planning. Deploy consultative selling approach with assigned accounts to identify supply chain challenges and develop value-creating solutions. Interact with regular customers to ensure continuity of existing businesses from order receipt to shipment as per customer requirements.
Cordination with Teams: Cordinate with planning/production and Logistics/Shipping teams to ensure timely dispatch, shipping documentation, and customer payments.
Market Research: Identify markets and customers for new products and products in the pipeline. Provide market research, intelligence, and key information on international market trends and competition to aid future export strategies.
Product Launch: Assist regional heads in successful product launches and ensuring sales of new products once commercialized.
