About the Role:
As the Automotive General Sales Manager at Shankari Hyundai, you will be responsible for leading the new- and used-vehicle department managers, focusing on driving sales and revenue growth. Your key objectives will include:
- Hiring, Training, and Supervision: Hire, train, and supervise new- and used-vehicle department managers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Forecasting and Planning: Participate in the preparation of the annual dealership forecast, projecting unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profits for the new- and used-sales departments.
- Performance Monitoring and Feedback: Meet with sales managers to establish annual and monthly objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct career development sessions.
- Inventory Management: Work with the dealer and general manager to determine the optimal days supply for new and used vehicles, ensuring the right inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Merchandising and Sales Strategies: Establish standards for displaying and merchandising new and used vehicles, and develop sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Customer Satisfaction: Address customer complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Team Collaboration: Facilitate new-vehicle pre-delivery with the service manager, and work collaboratively with other departments to achieve business objectives.
- Professional Development: Maintain a professional appearance, attend managers meetings as requested, and engage in ongoing sales training and professional development.
