Key Role:
A Regional Process Coordinator leads the way in harmonizing regional operations, optimizing performance, and driving continuous improvement. This vital role deploys strategic initiatives to streamline processes, establish a high-performance agency network, and enhance operational efficiencies across the region.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Process Harmonization & Performance Optimization:
The coordinator implements harmonized processes across the region, ensuring a standardized approach to operations. They collaborate with regional teams to review target operating models that drive efficiency and effectiveness. These models are continually assessed and refined to meet regional requirements.
- Strategic Deployment of Technologies:
The coordinator helps agencies identify and prioritize automation opportunities to reduce manual processes and operational redundancies. They facilitate knowledge sharing between regional agencies and promote best practices.
- High-Performance Agency Network Management:
The coordinator develops and implements a high-performance mindset within regional agencies. They monitor and coach Quality Performance Managers (QPMs) to improve agency performance across the region. Initiatives encourage best practices sharing, performance benchmarking, and continuous improvement within agency networks.
- Regional Improvement Projects:
The coordinator identifies and leads regional improvement projects focusing on waste reduction, simplification, and efficiency gains. Regular assessments uncover opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and simplification across various functions. Stakeholders across the region drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring alignment on project goals.
- Regional Deployments:
The coordinator deploys target operating models in regions to minimize exceptions and manage expectations. New tools and processes are deployed within the Region, monitoring implementation and project adoption before handover to Business units.
- Project Coordination & Contribution:
The coordinator participates in global projects, working closely with the HO Business Excellence team and external teams to implement projects effectively. As a focal point for the region, they provide regional specifics and process needs. Collaboration occurs during GBS transition projects.
- Implementation of New Clusters or Agencies:
The coordinator leads the setup and implementation of new regional clusters or agencies, aligning with business standards and operational targets. Guidance is provided on standard operating procedures, resource allocation, and technology requirements to establish a solid foundation for new entities. Smooth integration and adherence to the target operating model occur.
Required Skills and Qualifications:This role requires advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills with conceptual and strategic thinking. An inspiring leadership style incorporating CMA CGM's vision and values, naturally collaborative, bold, and teamwork-driven.
Key Competencies:- Business degree or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in project management and/or business process improvement.
- Lean Six Sigma certification advantageous.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to see the big picture and align operational processes with strategic business goals.
- Change Management: Skilled in managing change to drive adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Technology Acumen: Knowledgeable about new technologies, identifying and deploying relevant tools for process improvement.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Proactive in reducing waste, automating tasks, and simplifying workflows (Lean and Six Sigma knowledge).
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills evaluating data, assessing performance, and informing process optimizations.
