Job Summary

This role aims to oversee a group of government and private clients, ensuring designated sales targets are met.

To identify new business opportunities while maintaining existing customer relationships for the assigned region.

The primary owner of direct and indirect business partnerships, this individual drives channel partner performance to increase market reach.

Duties include account receivable collections within stipulated credit periods.

Responsibilities also include first-line assessment of creditworthiness for direct and indirect customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Direct Sales:
  • Develop innovative methods for mapping prospects, generate leads, and drive sales deals with government and private clients.
  • Promote core products within prospective customer accounts.
  • Oversee product demonstrations for qualified target accounts.
  • Conduct training workshops for radiographers to enhance their skills.
  • Attend key conferences in radiology, orthopedics, and veterinary fields, representing the company and its products.
  • Generate tenders and facilitate government tendering processes.
Indirect (Channel) Sales:
  • Appoint and manage distributors/channels for the product range.
  • Plan and implement market coverage strategies based on business potential and growth.
  • Plan and achieve distributor performance reviews and targets.
  • Energize and develop channel partners throughout the year.
  • Conduct quarterly business review/performance review and highlight critical issues faced by channels.
  • Organize sales training workshops for channel partners every six months.
Account Management:
  • Build and maintain long-term strategic business relationships with existing customers.
  • Recommend products and solutions that fit customers' business needs.
  • Act as a business consultant to customers.
  • Communicate customer voices to regional general managers.
  • Resolve customer issues satisfactorily.
  • Maintain accounts receivable at the desired level.
  • Keep regional general managers updated on competition activity.
  • Identify potential new business, including new products and markets.
Alignment with Product Verticals & Other Functions:
  • Enhance alignment with verticals like medical films and XRS business.
  • Highlight any disconnect between sales and other business functions.
  • Collaborate with these functions to standardize processes.
Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to company policies at all levels.
Required Skills and Qualifications

A BE/B Tech degree or equivalent educational qualification is preferred. Additionally, 4-6 years of experience in radiology or medical devices (equipment and consumable combination sales/service) would be beneficial.

Work experience in the field of radiology, healthcare/medical devices, or relevant industries is essential.
