
Sales Territory Manager

- Establish and maintain a robust distributor network by identifying potential partners, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely completion of agreements.
- Ensure seamless documentation and statutory compliance for newly appointed distributors, guaranteeing adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Develop and set sales targets both at the primary and secondary levels, including the number of retail stores to be opened every month, and drive achievement of these goals for each distributor under your care, as well as for the sales executive/TSM.
- Effectively manage sales to distributors, further to retail stores, thereby achieving targeted sales results through direct retailing and utilizing sales resources.
- Closely coordinate distributor's invoicing, and ensure timely dispatch via the company.
- Coordinate collections and efficiently manage distributor outstanding balances, adhering strictly to FIFO while maintaining track of outstanding amounts.
- Regularly confirm distributor balance to prevent discrepancies.
- Ensure daily sales reports, weekly inventory & sales reports, and monthly sales vs achievement reports with ageing of distributors are submitted accurately.
- Directly oversee the opening and servicing of A+ category retail outlets.
- Evaluate model mix and placement of focused products within the area.
- Monitor, train, groom, and motivate the sales team to deliver targeted results by providing necessary support, information, and guidance.
- Continuously monitor distributor's inventory, covering both SKUs and stock levels.
- Enhance merchandising and display of the company's products across the entire area.
- Analyze, collect, and summarize sales and inventory reports according to provided timelines, along with reporting competitor activity to RSM/ HO.
- Implement effective sales promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Identify and screen suitable sales resources, requiring:
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in the mobile accessories or related industry.
- Demonstrated market reputation in handling distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to drive business growth.
- Proven success in expanding market presence and driving sales growth, particularly in Urban and Rural areas.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and MIS reporting.
