We are a leading education provider seeking a highly motivated Assistant Sales Manager to support our sales team in achieving exceptional results.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve sales performance, effectively managing customer complaints, and assisting with the recruitment of sales staff. As a key member of our team, you will also be expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills, delegate tasks to sales staff when needed, and ensure that sales staff comply with company policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Supervise and guide the sales team, providing incentives to motivate staff to achieve sales targets.
- Monitor the performance of the sales team, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure the store is clean and well-maintained at all times, building and maintaining good working relationships with customers.
- Identify opportunities and strategies to increase sales, regularly attending sales meetings and training sessions.
- Evaluate and implement effective sales techniques to drive business growth.
- Perform all duties of the Sales Manager in cases of absence or emergency.
Requirements
- Holds a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field is an advantage.
- Proven experience in sales and customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, possessing excellent problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates strong management and leadership skills, effective communication skills, and exceptional customer service skills.
Compensation Package
The salary for this position is approximately ₹12-15 lakhs per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience. This includes a basic salary range of ₹8-10 lakhs plus additional benefits, such as bonuses and performance-based incentives.
