Senior Business Development Manager - Growth Markets

">About the Role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving business growth and expansion in assigned geographies.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of business finance, loan structuring methods, and credit administration.

They will be able to build credibility with customers and gain competitive advantage by understanding local market patterns, specific occupations, trade, industries, and financial preferences.

Main Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth through identifying newer customer segments and strengthening existing relationships
  • Achieve sales targets by driving pipeline funnel and increasing book size and market share
  • Monitor local market trends and competitive offerings, identify opportunities for business expansion, and ensure minimal client attrition through strong client engagement activities

The role requires the ability to stay abreast with recent market trends and local market preferences. The candidate will also need to ensure credit quality, carry out effective portfolio selection and pre-screening to minimize risk of NPAs, and maintain strong client relationships through post-sanction surveillance and monitoring collaterals.
