Job Title: Regional Head - Sales

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Bd Strategy
  • Contribute to API BD strategy on Global Accounts growth objectives
  • Determine strategies for selected accounts
  • Build wallet share of business for Biocon API business in India
Leading Sales and Account Management
  • Lead operations and day-to-day activities to ensure smooth functioning of businesses and monthly order forecasting for production planning
  • Grow share of business, as well as expand relationships within customers identifying influencers, gatekeepers, decision makers within the region of India, but also direct and align with Global and Regional KAMs to further penetrate client organization
  • Deploy strong consultative selling approach with assigned accounts to identify their supply chain challenges and develop value-creating solutions
  • Interact with regular customers to ensure continuity of existing businesses from the time that orders are received to the time shipments are despatched as per customer requirement
  • Coordinate with planning/production and logistics/shipping team to ensure despatch as per customer timelines, shipping documentations are provided to the customer, and ensure payments are received by due-dates from the customer
  • Responsibilities also include necessary interaction/co-ordination with various Depts. for samples, regulatory requirements, DMFs, and other documentation for new customer & regulatory approvals to meet statutory requirements of customers
  • Manage business development activities to add new customers and increase market coverage of existing range of products in untapped regions
Identification of Markets and Customers
  • Identify markets and customers for new products and products in pipeline
  • Assist regional heads for successful launch and in ensuring sales of new products once commercialized
Market Research and Intelligence
  • Provide market research, market intelligence, and key information on international market trends and competition to help division with future export strategies
