We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Business Development Professional to lead our engagement with the Canteen Stores Department (CSD) of the Indian Armed Forces.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to build and grow our business with CSD. They will manage relationships with CSD Headquarters, Depots, and Defence personnel, drive registrations, listings, and product approvals, and ensure smooth supply chain, pricing approvals, and product availability at depots.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to build and grow our business with CSD.
  • Manage relationships with CSD Headquarters, Depots, and Defence personnel.
  • Drive registrations, listings, and product approvals with CSD authorities.
  • Ensure smooth supply chain, pricing approvals, and product availability at depots.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, logistics, operations) to ensure compliance with CSD requirements.
  • Track sales performance and generate regular reports for management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development / Sales, with proven exposure to Defence / CSD / Government Institutions.
  • Strong network and understanding of CSD processes, policies, and operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver measurable results.
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Prior Defence background (retired Army/Navy/Air Force personnel with relevant experience) will be an added advantage.
