Business Proposal Development

The primary function of this position is to develop business proposals by determining concepts, gathering and formatting information, writing drafts, and obtaining approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop business proposals by analyzing market research, identifying opportunities and needs, studying requests for proposal (RFPs), and participating in strategic planning sessions.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and tailor proposals accordingly.
  • Ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, approval, and transmittal.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to contribute to proposal development and ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Gather and organize relevant data, including project objectives, deliverables, implementation methods, timelines, and performance standards.
  • Write, revise, and edit proposal content, including executive summaries, conclusions, and company credentials.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to incorporate their insights and recommendations into the proposal.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills to effectively articulate complex ideas and concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address proposal-related challenges.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Effective collaboration and team management skills to facilitate smooth proposal development.
  • Proven experience in business proposal development, preferably in a related industry or field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
