Job Opportunity

As a Regional Sales Leader, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth across India by maximizing market opportunities.

Your primary management responsibility is to oversee business operations, including sales and market share gain for products and/or services throughout assigned regions in India.

You will set an effective positioning of our company's brand messaging together with definable and measurable sales goals and ensure that they are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development Strategy
    • Contribute to the development of a business strategy on Global Accounts growth objectives
    • Determine strategies for selected Accounts
    • Build the wallet share of business for our Biocon API business in India
  • Leading Sales and Account Management
    • Lead operations and day-to-day activities to ensure smooth functioning of businesses and monthly order forecasting for production planning
    • Grow the share of business and expand relationships within the customer, identifying influencers, gatekeepers, decision makers within the region of India
    • Deploy a strong consultative selling approach with assigned accounts to identify their supply chain challenges and develop value-creating solutions
    • Interact with regular customers to ensure continuity of existing businesses from order receipt to shipment dispatch as per customer requirement
    • Coordinate with the planning/production and Logistics/Shipping team to ensure dispatch as per customer time-lines, shipping documentations are provided to the customer and payments are received by due-dates
    • Manage business development activities to add new customers and increase market coverage of existing range of products in untapped regions
    • Identification of markets and customers for new products and products in pipeline. Assist regional heads for successful launch and ensuring sales of new products once commercialized
    • Provide market research, market intelligence, and key information on international market trends and competition to help the division with future export strategies
