Area Sales Manager

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to lead our institutional sales efforts in the government and hospital sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop business relationships with government hospitals and institutes, interacting with purchase departments to drive sales growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and purchase departments to ensure effective communication and sales outcomes.
- Identify and engage with decision-makers in central and government hospitals to generate new business opportunities.
- Participate in tender processes to penetrate central and government hospitals, institutes, and bodies, driving business growth and development.
- Lead a team of Medical Representatives and Sales Executives in the region, driving business development activities and ensuring sales targets are met.
- Travel within the city and out-of-station, approximately 20-30% of the time, to engage with customers and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in institutional sales, preferably in the medical device sector, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, purchase departments, and stakeholders.
- Fluency in local language is a must.
- Good computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to analyze data and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Location: Chandigarh (covering Haryana and Punjab)
