
Executive Regional Sales Leader

Regional Business Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute regional growth strategies aligned with the organization's national business development goals.
- Own and manage the regional sales pipeline, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and policy changes to adapt strategies proactively.
- Provide leadership and guidance to regional business development managers, officers, and project coordinators.
High-Level Stakeholder Management:
- Build, nurture, and influence strategic relationships with senior government officials, department heads, urban and rural local bodies, and corporate social responsibility leaders.
- Represent the company at regional government forums, public policy discussions, and industry consortiums.
- Large-Scale Project Acquisition & Execution Oversight
- Lead the development and closure of large and strategic deals with government and semi-government entities.
- Oversee end-to-end project planning and execution across the region, ensuring adherence to deliverables, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, legal, finance, product) for seamless execution.
Revenue Leadership & Account Growth:
- Drive revenue achievement for the region through aggressive yet ethical sales practices.
- Track performance metrics, client conversion ratios, and payment collections.
- Identify and expand key accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and long-term engagement.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of experience in business development, with proven leadership in B2G/B2B2G environments, especially in waste management equipment.
- Deep understanding of public procurement, government projects, and corporate social responsibility ecosystems.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Fluent in English, Hindi, and preferably the regional language (e.g., Marathi).
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and sales analytics.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the regional market and have experience working with government and semi-government entities. They must be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies. Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills are essential for this role.
