Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Luxury Furniture Sales Consultant to join our team at Alankaram in Bangalore, India. As a key member of our showroom sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven sales professional to excel in a dynamic retail environment. You will be responsible for engaging with clients, identifying their needs, and converting showroom visits into sales. Your expertise in luxury furniture, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced setting make you an ideal candidate for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in the showroom, providing personalized product recommendations tailored to their preferences and needs.

• Drive sales by demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of Alankaram's luxury furniture offerings, including materials, design options, and customization capabilities.

• Proactively follow up on customer inquiries, quotes, and leads to convert potential buyers into customers.

• Prepare and present product quotations and assist customers in making informed decisions.

• Build and maintain relationships with clients, including interior designers, architects, and end-users, to generate repeat business and referrals.

• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall sales objectives of the showroom.

Showroom Management and Maintenance:

• Ensure that the showroom is visually appealing and properly arranged, with all product displays in pristine condition.

• Assist with inventory management, including tracking product availability, restocking items, and conducting regular stock checks.

• Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers.

Product Knowledge and Training:

• Stay updated on Alankaram's product offerings, new arrivals, and industry trends to provide accurate and engaging product information to clients.

• Participate in regular training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.

Customer Experience and Feedback:

• Deliver a premium customer service experience, addressing customer queries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.

• Gather and communicate customer feedback, preferences, and needs to improve the showroom's offerings and service.

Promotional Activities and Events:

• Support showroom promotional activities, exhibitions, and events aimed at driving foot traffic and boosting sales.

• Engage with clients during events to maximize exposure and sales opportunities.

Collaboration and Reporting:

• Collaborate with the showroom team to achieve collective sales targets and support daily operations.

• Provide sales reports, updates on customer interactions, and feedback to the Showroom Manager regularly.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

• 4+ years of experience in sales, preferably in luxury furniture, home decor, or a similar industry.

• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and handle multiple tasks.

• Passion for interior design and luxury furniture.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is ₹10,50,000, commensurate with experience and performance-based incentives.
