
Pre-Sales Business Developer

As a key team member in our expanding Business Development unit, you will drive growth across multiple regions. Your critical pre-sales activities include prospecting, outreach, meeting organization, and sales intelligence.
Your Responsibilities- Build pipeline: Create qualified prospect lists using databases, web research, and other tools.
- Account intelligence: Track news and developments at priority accounts to spot timely opportunities.
- Maintain our lead database/CRM: Ensure clean, current records; enrich prospect attributes; manage list hygiene.
- Run outreach: Execute email campaigns to secure calls/meetings.
- Orchestrate meetings: Schedule with prospects, manage calendars, and ensure pre-reads are in place.
- Pitch preparation: Compile contact bios, company profiles, recent developments, and capability overviews.
- Sales support: Profile prospects, tailor decks, and map offerings to needs; support follow-ups and next steps.
- Sales collateral: Maintain and disseminate brochures, pitch decks, templates, and other assets.
- Events: Identify relevant conferences and manage end-to-end preparation.
- Tools & analytics: Drive lead generation via sales-intelligence platforms and CRM application tools.
- Contribute strategic ideas to improve pre-sales and BD processes.
- Mentor junior team members and take on leadership roles.
- Rapid understanding of complex client segments and aligned offerings.
- High responsiveness, strong ownership, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Resourceful researcher with excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Clear, confident communication with strong written and spoken English.
- Flexibility during peak periods.
- Candidates must be based in Mumbai.
- 3+ years of experience in pre-sales or a related B2B role, preferably with European/US market knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree with upper-quartile academic performance.
- Demonstrated top-decile performance in prior roles.
- Relevant background in KPO, IT services, or B2B sales pre-sales is preferred.
- Alternative fit: experience in sales/lead generation for top information services/database providers in financial services.
- Distinguishing qualities that set you apart (e.g., notable achievements, certifications).
