Leadership Role in Design and Innovation

We seek a seasoned executive to lead our design organization. This role is critical in driving innovation, excellence, and growth in the field of aerospace engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or aeronautical engineering, with at least 20 years of experience in leading technical teams. They must possess expertise in both metallic and composite design, as well as a deep understanding of fuselage, wing, empennage, control surfaces, and structural systems.

They will be responsible for ensuring that all design activities are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including EASA, Airbus A1020, FAA, CAA, DGCA, and CEMILAC. The successful candidate will also be accountable for reviewing signatory delegation processes, WPL recommendations, and nominee qualifications.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring deliverables meet design requirements;
  • Conducting independent technical reviews;
  • Identifying and providing required training;
  • Monitoring effectiveness during mentoring phases;
  • Reviewing monthly data on nominees and signatories;
  • Coordinating with QA departments;
  • Improving quality metrics through collaboration with WPLs;
  • Maintaining nominee and signatory records;
  • Supporting the Head of Engineering in ensuring design organization requirements during technical audits and proposal preparation;
  • Engaging in proactive technical initiatives and best practices.

To excel in this role, the candidate should possess excellent communication, presentation, project management, risk mitigation, and problem-solving skills. Additional desirable traits include innovations and global paper publications.
