Job Title: Operations Director

Description: As the Operations Director, you will oversee all operational aspects of MICE events. Ensure flawless planning and delivery of high-quality events and corporate programs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end operations of MICE events, including logistics, vendor coordination, budgeting, and team management.
  • Lead the operations team, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management.
  • Closely collaborate with sales, marketing, and client relations to align operational execution with business goals.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, venues, and service providers to secure competitive rates and quality services.
  • Conduct site inspections, assess venues, and ensure all event requirements are met.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational efficiency, implement process improvements, and drive cost optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and quality standards during event execution.
  • Handle risk management and contingency planning for seamless event delivery.
  • Prepare operational reports and MIS for senior management and clients.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years in event operations or related roles, with 3+ years in MICE operations leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of the MICE industry, event management best practices, and vendor management.
  • Proven leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Able to handle multiple projects and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office, event management software, and reporting tools.
