Key Responsibilities:
As a Solution Engineer on our Mainframe Presales team, you will work directly with Sales and Presales organizations to create strategy, timelines, and deliverables that align customer initiatives with BMC's solutions.
Key Accountabilities:
- Partners with sales teams to interpret complex customer needs and develop innovative solutions delivering business and technical value.
- Simplifies the communication of technical and business content to a varied audience, including technical and non-technical customers.
- Actively partners with customers to document their current state, including applicable metrics, to assist in defining the correct solution and support in business case creation.
- Delivers compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts culminating from the customer's business and goals.
- Challenges oneself to innovate solutions to everyday problems.
Requirements:
- Embracing BMC values every day.
- 5+ years experience in a presales capacity or relatable technical role.
- Proven ability to develop a broad awareness of the client's technical architecture and emerging technologies.
- Subject matter expertise on z/OS solutions.
- Artistry in creating and delivering compelling demonstrations.
