Key Performance Indicators:

We seek a seasoned professional to lead our Corporate Affairs function, driving policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement, crisis management, and regulatory compliance.

  1. Develop and execute strategic plans to influence favorable policy environments for operations, engaging with government officials, industry leaders, and key stakeholders.
  2. Maintain adherence to environmental clearances, labor law compliance, land use permissions, and industrial licensing requirements specific to Andhra Pradesh.
  3. Implement crisis communication protocols, serve as primary media spokesperson during sensitive situations, and maintain relationships with key regional media personnel.
  4. Monitor policy developments affecting the steel/manufacturing sector, prepare position papers, and advocacy strategies, representing company interests in industry associations and government consultations.
  5. Lead land acquisition processes, liaison with revenue officials, and coordinate with legal teams on property-related matters and dispute resolution.
  6. Brief senior leadership on political developments, coordinate with various departments (HR, Legal, Operations) to align corporate affairs strategies with business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in engaging with government and industry leaders to influence policy and advance business goals.
  • Proven ability to handle media during crises and proactively mitigate risks.
  • Deep knowledge of land procurement, labour standards, and the socio-political landscape of Vijayawada / Andhra Pradesh.
  • Able to develop and execute data-driven public affairs strategies.
  • Skilled in leading a team and influencing stakeholders within a complex, matrix organization.
