Overview

Milestone Technologies, Inc. is a leading IT services provider seeking an experienced Service Desk L1 Technician to join its technical operations team. This role involves providing exceptional support to end-users across various technologies, ensuring seamless IT services delivery.

Job Summary

This exciting opportunity focuses on delivering top-notch customer service, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and collaborating with internal teams to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary IT support for internal users via phone, email, or in-person interactions.
  • Assist with hardware, software, and account setup, including mobile devices, printers, and other equipment.
  • Troubleshoot Mac, Windows, and Chrome OS issues using various tools and techniques.
  • Support iPhone and Android mobile devices, iPads, Mifi's, RDK kits, and other related hardware.
  • Configure mobile phone, MDM, email, VPN, and internet access for users securely.
  • Evaluate, resolve, or escalate incoming tickets efficiently.
  • Perform general network troubleshooting for connectivity issues, authentication, remote access, secure Wi-Fi, and wired connectivity.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for procurement, provisioning, and deployment of equipment.
  • Manage inventory replenishment and allocation to designated locations.
  • Contribute to new hire onboarding administration and educate them on company software and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
  • Fluency in English language, both written and verbal.
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, IP schemas, LAN/WAN design, and wireless networking.
  • Familiarity with Crestron, Extron, Revolab, and understanding of analog and digital signal flow.
