About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at Connectpro Management Consultants Private Limited. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing downtime.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, with a strong passion for technology and problem-solving. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support for all IT-related issues, including network infrastructure, desktop systems, software, and hardware
  • Maintaining passwords, data integrity, and file system security for the desktop environment
  • Communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Triaging, diagnosing, and/or transferring work requests and incidents to appropriate groups
  • Handling the ticket backlog and day-to-day IT support activities
  • Onboarding new users and devices to Microsoft Intune, supporting users in account/profile-related issues
  • Installing, diagnosing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware/equipment (including laptops, printers) to ensure optimal performance
  • Diagnosing and resolving Windows applications and networking problems quickly
  • Monitoring internet lines and working with ISPs to resolve issues
  • Understanding TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls/UTM configurations, load balancing/failover, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and ability to support colleagues on various issues related to connectivity/configuration/data files
  • Maintaining asset inventory, allocation, and configuration of assets as per requirement
  • VPN installation, configuration, and troubleshooting/providing remote support to end-users
  • In-depth understanding of LAN and Wi-Fi, with the ability to fix LAN/Wi-Fi-related issues at PC/Access-Point/Firewall

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, BE/BTECH, or a related field
  • Ability to switch between Windows, Linux, Mac OS (knowledge preferable)
  • Can work independently with minimal instruction on day-to-day work
  • Ability to set priorities for and execute projects
  • Exceptional problem-solving and documentation skills
  • A combination of knowledge of any of the following IT platforms and concepts: MDM/UEM, Microsoft Defender, Active Directory, O365/Exchange, Linux/Unix, Microsoft Office Suite, Laptop/Desktop Hardware Hands-on Experience, AV Hands-on Experience, ServiceNow or Any ticketing tool with deep knowledge, RDP, Windows & Mac OS flavours

Compensation and Benefits:
