Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Business Development Manager – Dairy to join our team in the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, reviewing team performance, locating potential business deals, and developing negotiating strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as advised by management.
- Monitor debtor days and ensure they are within target ranges.
- Conduct quarterly performance reviews of direct reportees and document findings.
- Identify and propose potential business opportunities by engaging with partners and exploring market trends.
- Analyze market strategies and evaluate potential deals based on financials, requirements, and priorities.
- Develop negotiating positions and strategies to align with company operations and goals.
- Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing contracts, and integrating operations.
- Ensure confidentiality of organizational information and maintain a positive reputation.
- Collaborate with consultants and distributors for regional sales promotions.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Veterinarian preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in selling feed additives in the dairy market.
Language fluency:
- English and Tamil mandatory.
Remuneration:
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum based on qualification, experience, and individual talent.
