Job Description

Accor is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeping Operations Manager to lead our housekeeping team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact on the hotel's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Housekeeper in planning and coordinating housekeeping activities, ensuring seamless operations and maximum efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with all departments, fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Maintain optimal staffing levels to deliver exceptional guest service and ensure high-quality standards are met.
  • Develop and motivate staff to achieve their full potential, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure thorough training for all safety provisions and protocols.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, resolving issues efficiently to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Assist in formulating the yearly business plan and budget, ensuring financial management aligns with departmental goals.
  • Maintain cost controls through scheduling, inventory management, and identifying opportunities for resource optimization.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure public areas, furnishings, and equipment meet Accor's high standards.
  • Enforce grooming standards among housekeeping personnel, promoting a professional image.
  • Coordinate renovations, repairs, and refurbishments, ensuring rooms are defect-free before release.
  • Participate in inventories and coordinate training programs, driving continuous improvement.
  • Interact with guests and staff in a courteous and efficient manner, reflecting Accor's commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Implement preventative maintenance processes for furniture, carpeting, equipment, and supplies.
  • Promote highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and safety throughout the housekeeping department and the hotel.
  • Plan and organize operations to consistently achieve and maintain established cleanliness standards in interior spaces, guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house zones.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping or hospitality management, preferably in a senior role.
  • Proven track record of leadership, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
