Senior Culinary Director

Job Overview:

The Accor Hotel group is seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing menu development, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

About the Role:

This role involves overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including financial management, staff supervision, and maintaining a safe working environment. As an Executive Chef, you will work closely with our restaurant teams to deliver outstanding dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and design menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and cater to diverse tastes
• Develop and implement effective kitchen workflows to minimize food waste and maximize efficiency
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, equipment usage, and teamwork among kitchen staff
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fresh produce and manage inventory effectively
• Monitor and control costs to meet financial objectives while upholding quality standards
• Collaborate with the hotel's events team to tailor menus for banquets and special occasions

Requirements:

• Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
• Proven track record in senior culinary roles, preferably within a luxury hotel setting
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities and maintain high pressure levels during peak periods
• Possesses strong problem-solving and analytical skills
