We are a leading manufacturer of consumer products, and we're seeking an experienced Territory Development Specialist to join our team.
Job Description:
The Territory Development Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing sales plans to achieve sales targets within their assigned territory. This includes appointing suitable distributors, ensuring primary and secondary sales, and executing other important activities such as claim management and CRM implementation.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of at least 6-8 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the related industry. They should have strong connections with customers, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Appoint suitable distributors and ensure primary and secondary sales along with executing other important activities.
- Identify and prospect potential institutional clients in the HORECA & Related industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Understand customer needs, provide product knowledge, and offer tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Conduct product demonstrations, training, and presentations to showcase the benefits and features of our products.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure timely order processing, delivery, and after-sales support.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to track performance and provide insights to management.
- Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to expand the company's presence and generate new business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree would be preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 6-8 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the related industry.
- Strong connections with customers that you can leverage.
- Strong understanding of the HORECA and related sectors and its dynamics, including knowledge of customer needs, market trends, and competitor landscape.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with a customer-centric approach.
Estimated Salary: ₹1200000 - ₹1800000 per annum
