About the Role:

The Manager of Marketplace E-commerce will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive the company’s growth and presence across various online marketplaces in India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketplace Strategy:
    • Develop strategic plans for growth on key marketplaces, including Amazon, Flipkart, and other e-commerce platforms.

  • Product Listings:

    • Enhance product visibility through SEO optimization and keyword planning.

  • Sales & Performance Analysis:

    • Track and analyze metrics like conversion rates, sales growth, and customer feedback.
    • Generate performance reports and provide actionable insights to improve KPIs.
  • Inventory & Order Management:
    • Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to optimize inventory levels.
    • Implement measures to reduce stockouts and optimize fulfillment strategies.
    • Ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve logistics-related issues.
  • Marketing & Promotions:
    • Develop promotional campaigns to drive visibility and sales.
    • Work with digital marketing teams to leverage paid ads and sponsored listings.
    • Collaborate with marketplace account managers to take advantage of promotional opportunities.
  • Customer Experience:
    • Ensure positive customer experiences by responding to queries and feedback.
    • Track customer satisfaction metrics and implement actions to improve.
    • Lead initiatives to resolve customer complaints and enhance after-sales support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in e-commerce, specifically in marketplace management for consumer goods or kitchen appliances.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing P&L for products on marketplaces.
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce best practices, SEO, and digital marketing in a B2C environment.
  • Proficiency in using marketplace tools like Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, and third-party analytics tools.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
