About the Role:

Cosmos Pumps Pvt. Ltd., a leading company in the industrial pump industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead our sales and marketing teams in the Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand customer base in Mumbai.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and influencers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Recruit, train, and manage the sales team within the assigned territory. Provide guidance, motivation, and support to maximize their potential and performance.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop sales strategies, pricing policies, and promotional activities to drive sales growth.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, budgets, and reports. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
  • Organize product demonstrations, exhibitions, and promotional events. Conduct presentations and technical discussions with customers as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Uphold high standards of professionalism and ethics.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering,
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing,
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the industrial pump or related industry,
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills,
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities,
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools,
  • Ability to travel as needed.
