Strategic Government Sales Growth Manager

The role of a Strategic Government Sales Growth Manager involves driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets for the Central Govt & PSU Vertical. This entails identifying qualified opportunities, understanding customers' diverse business needs, and applying product knowledge to meet them.
To excel in this position, you will develop and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence in the assigned Geo / Vertical. Your responsibilities will include forecasting and reporting business opportunities, building and maintaining a robust business pipeline, and creating new pipelines through targeted workshops, events, seminars, and other activities.
You will also be responsible for working on tender documents, proposals, reports, and supporting literature. As a quota-carrying role, you will consistently deliver against forecast and goals, focusing on face-to-face interactions with customers for selling and conducting sales presentations.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for exploring new business opportunities and maintaining links with existing customers to promote additional products and upgrades.
Requirements- A minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets in government sales
- Prior experience in IT infra/system integration solutions is a plus
- A track record of closed sales, customer satisfaction, teamwork, business forecasting, pipeline development
- The ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively
- Business acumen and industry expertise
