Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Sales Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the assigned state, focusing on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Identify Potential Customers: Research, network, and cold-call to identify potential customers, leads, and opportunities within the territory.
  • Build Relationships: Establish strong relationships with interior designers, architects, and other industry professionals to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Product Presentations: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value and features of our furniture products to potential clients.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to develop state-specific promotional materials and campaigns to increase brand visibility and drive sales.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Market Analysis: Regularly monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Sales Data Analysis: Analyze sales data and generate reports to track progress against sales targets and provide insights for improvement.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand our presence in the state.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven Sales Experience: Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably in the furniture industry or a related field.
  • Professional Network: Strong network of contacts within the interior design and architecture community in the assigned state.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Results-Oriented: Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • CMS Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel within the state for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
