Our goal is to help key vendors partner with Amazon through our paid B2B service, Amazon Vendor Services (AVS). The AVS team, in partnership with Retail Business Services (RBS), aims to support vendors in achieving their business objectives.

**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vendor Consultant to join our team. As a Vendor Consultant, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering strategies for managing key metric pillars for Amazon AVS vendors.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with the Retail (AVS) Team to manage vendor relationships by championing the vendor's needs at Amazon.

  • Building communication channels at all levels, setting proper expectations, providing clear status communications, and managing towards a growth plan for the vendors.

  • Developing and executing strategic account plans that deliver on key business opportunities and relevant KPIs for the vendors and Amazon.

  • Collaborating with internal Amazon teams and vendors to improve operational aspects of their business in providing a great consumer experience.

  • Conducting deep dive analyses on handled issues for the vendors and developing recommendations and action plans based on data to improve vendor experience.

  • Providing thought leadership around planning, roadmaps, and execution.

  • Establishing long-term partnerships with key vendor partners for the group of vendors handled.

  • Supporting the launches of new programs, categories, and features.

  • Conducting regular Working Business Reviews (WBRs) and Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) with vendors to highlight business metric performance and build action plans.

  • Influencing metrics (ability to understand a metric and create realistic forecasts, take calculated risks, and quickly react with new action plans).

**Salary Range:** $120,000 - $180,000 per year

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • At least 1+ years of program or project management experience.

  • At least 2+ years of interacting with customers/stakeholders experience.

  • Experience using data to influence business decisions.

  • At least 2+ years of sales or account management experience.

  • Experience with Excel.

  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers.
