Banquet Sales Strategist

The Banquet Sales Strategist plays a pivotal role in our restaurant's success by generating revenue through the sale of banquet and event services. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with clients, planning and coordinating events, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to meet our high standards.
Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve banquet sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate events, weddings, private parties, and other special occasions.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, event planners, and corporate partners.
- Conduct site visits and presentations to prospective clients to showcase our facilities and offerings.
- Create and deliver compelling proposals tailored to clients' needs.
Event Coordination and Planning:
- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and preferences, ensuring customized event solutions.
- Liaise with our culinary, service, and operations teams to plan menus, layouts, and logistics.
- Coordinate event timelines, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
- Manage contracts, payments, and event-related documentation.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure consistent and professional communication with clients throughout the sales and event planning process.
- Provide post-event follow-up to gather feedback and maintain client relationships for repeat business.
- Resolve client concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
About Our Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in banquet/event sales, preferably in a luxury or fine-dining environment. A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or a related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities, and proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A Competitive Salary:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $70,000, commensurate with experience.
