HR & Compliance Coordinator Job Description

The primary goal of this role is to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, while also providing exceptional support to employees and contractors throughout the onboarding and offboarding process.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Onboarding & Offboarding Support: Ensure a seamless experience for employees and contractors by managing the entire onboarding and offboarding process from start to finish.
    • Background Verification Coordination: Work closely with vendors and internal teams to guarantee accurate and timely background screenings.
    • Compliance Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee information, ensuring that all necessary documents are completed and stored in accordance with organizational standards.
    • MSP & Client Portal Management: Efficiently manage various MSP portals, including Fieldglass and Beeline, to track and submit onboarding and compliance workflows in a timely manner.
    • SOP & Process Documentation: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for key HR, onboarding, and compliance workflows, ensuring that processes are aligned with organizational goals.
    • Federal & Client-Specific Compliance: Apply knowledge of US federal employment regulations and client-specific guidelines to ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
    • Asset Return Tracking: Coordinate the return of company-issued equipment and assets as part of the offboarding process, maintaining trackers and confirming return confirmations with clients.
    • Client & Vendor Coordination: Serve as a primary point of contact for communication with clients, vendors, and candidates regarding compliance, onboarding status, and documentation queries.
    • Audit Readiness Support: Prepare and organize compliance records and documentation to support internal and client audits, ensuring readiness at all times.
    Requirements:
    • 1–3 years of experience in US Staffing Operations, HR Coordination, or Compliance Support
    • Hands-on experience with MSP portals (e.g. Beeline, Fieldglass)
    • Working knowledge of US federal employment regulations (I-9, E-Verify, contractor compliance, etc.)
    • Experience preparing and maintaining SOPs or process documentation
    • Familiarity with background check portals and onboarding processes
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and document tracking tools
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, process-driven, and a quick learner
