About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Sales Development Manager to join our team at Featherlite Furniture. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in the furniture or related industry, and a passion for building client relationships and driving sales.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing client accounts, and achieving sales targets. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop and execute sales strategies and promotions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive repeat business.
  • Client Management:
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Handle client inquiries, negotiate terms, and close sales deals.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
  • Sales Targets and Reporting:
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Track sales metrics and analyze performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Market Research:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on client interactions and market insights.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 1-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in the furniture or related industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Knowledge of office furniture trends and products is a plus.
Estimated Salary: ₹8,00,000 - ₹12,00,000 per annum
