About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Commercial Sales to lead our sales team in Bangalore, India.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams, driving revenue growth, and developing strategic partnerships. As a member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for creating and executing sales strategies that meet or exceed our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share
  • Lead and manage a team of Commercial Sales Managers and Executives, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure their success
  • Forecast performance based on team productivity and provide regular and accurate revenue forecasting to leadership
  • Evaluate trends to identify areas for improvement and surface best-practices
  • Cross-collaborate with stakeholder departments to actualize on go-to-market strategies, develop training curriculum, and meet hiring goals
Requirements
  • 5+ years of overall Commercial sales experience working with Commercial sized organizations (X+ employees) in the India and SAARC region
  • A strong relationship builder with excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Able to accurately forecast team performance and manage complex sales processes
  • Experienced in managing and coaching sales teams to meet and exceed their sales quotas
  • Possess a strong track record of developing others and overseeing first-line managers in all areas of the sales cycle
