Business Growth Director
Job Description:We are looking for a highly skilled Business Growth Director to lead our sales and distribution efforts. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in direct sales, B2C sales, merchant acquisition, offline payments, distribution, or telecom.
The role requires strong field sales and team-handling expertise, with the ability to develop and execute strategies for merchant/retailer acquisition across various segments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sourcing, lead generation, and closure of new acquisitions & activations, as well as managing, coaching, and mentoring a team of direct sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Strategies: Develop and execute strategies for merchant/retailer acquisition across various segments.
- Drive Sourcing and Lead Generation: Drive sourcing, lead generation, and closure of new acquisitions & activations.
- Manage and Mentor Teams: Manage, coach, and mentor a team of direct sales professionals.
- Build Merchant Relationships: Build strong merchant relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Plan Promotional Strategies: Plan and implement promotional strategies to boost market penetration & visibility.
- Travel and Expand Market Presence: Travel across the city to expand market presence.
- Meet Sales Targets: Consistently achieve sales and activation targets.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Relevant Experience: 7-10 years of relevant experience in sales & team management.
- Sales Principles and Practices: In-depth knowledge of sales principles and practices with the ability to coach teams.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Leadership and Team-Building Capabilities: Proven leadership, people management, and team-building capabilities.
