Lead and manage student recruitment across multiple regions to drive growth and success.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record of achieving results in higher education student recruitment. You will be responsible for overseeing regional strategies, managing teams, and delivering targets.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of international education markets, and excellent communication abilities.
- Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Manage and motivate a team of recruitment professionals to achieve results.
- Develop and implement performance plans, set clear targets, and monitor progress.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Regional Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute regional recruitment strategies aligned with our global objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to identify opportunities and drive growth.
- Market Analysis & Insights:
- Analyze regional market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, admissions, and compliance teams to align efforts and improve conversion rates.
- Collaborate with university partners to strengthen brand visibility and market presence.
- Ensure smooth communication flow between regional teams and central teams.
- Results-Oriented Performance:
- Drive results against agreed recruitment targets.
- Regularly monitor and report on team and regional performance, identifying risks and corrective actions.
- Establish best practices for efficient operations and effective recruitment activities.
- Leadership & Team Management:
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 6–10 years of experience in higher education student recruitment, with at least 3 years in a managerial/leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams and achieving regional recruitment targets.
- Strong understanding of international education markets, particularly the UK study abroad landscape.
- Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and people management skills.
- Strong interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building abilities across diverse cultures.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver results within tight timelines.
- High level of professionalism, initiative, and independence.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
