About the Role

eJAmerica is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and resolving complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle Tier 1 help desk escalations through our internal ticketing system, utilizing strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot common IT problems, possessing a thorough understanding of day-to-day operating environments, available tools, and client applications.
  • Perform basic Windows administration tasks, including password resets, file and folder administration, and internet connection troubleshooting.
  • Evaluate complex technical problems and escalate them to Technical Support Specialists or other IT specialists as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of troubleshooting steps and create knowledgebase articles to facilitate future resolutions.
  • Adhere to established IT policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with information systems goals and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 3-8 years' experience in a customer ServiceDesk or Help Desk environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with IT management and team members.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple requests simultaneously.
