We are seeking a highly skilled Channel Development Manager to drive our channel expansion strategy in the assigned territory.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding Jio Points within the territory, increasing customer reach and revenue. They will also monitor retail outlets to ensure they meet Jio's standards, develop strategies to achieve acquisition targets and revenue goals, and operationalize Jio Centres by implementing efficient processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive Channel Expansion:
- Expand Jio Points in the assigned territory to increase customer reach and revenue.
- Monitor Retail Outlets:
- Regularly assess the performance of retail outlets in the territory to ensure they meet Jio's standards.
- Acquisition and Revenue Targets:
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve inbound and outbound acquisition targets and revenue goals.
- Operationalize Jio Centres:
- Ensure seamless operation of all Jio points within a Jio Centre by implementing efficient processes and procedures.
- Team Performance:
- Own and manage the performance of preferred outlets in the territory to ensure exceptional results.
- Customer Experience:
- Deliver world-class customer experience at Jio Points through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Hygiene and Governance:
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and governance at Jio Points to ensure a safe and healthy environment for customers and employees.
- Team Management:
- Effectively manage team members and channel partners to achieve business objectives.
- Productivity and Training:
- Monitor and manage team productivity, evaluate performance, and provide training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Educational Background:
- A graduate degree with an MBA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, or a related field is required.
- Territory Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of the assigned territory and its dynamics is essential.
- Distribution Management:
- Ability to manage distribution channels and logistics efficiently is crucial.
- Leadership Skills:
- Effective leadership and management skills are necessary to guide team members and channel partners.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to engage with customers, employees, and stakeholders.
- Influencing and Negotiation Skills:
- Ability to influence and negotiate with various stakeholders to achieve business objectives is essential.
- Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to resolve complex issues and make informed decisions.
- Process Orientation:
- Ability to develop and implement process-oriented solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness is critical.
