Job Opportunity: Agriculture Sales Director at FMCG Company

We are seeking a highly skilled Agriculture Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in the FMCG industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fertilizer sales or category management at the zonal or national level, with excellent leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in the agriculture segment, focusing on fertilizers and related products.
  • Manage product categories, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs, while achieving sales targets.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for new product development and improvements in existing offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing, while managing vendor performance to meet company standards.
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and present insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fertilizer sales or category management at the zonal/national level.
  • BSc. / MSc. in Agriculture; an MBA is preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing product categories and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills and vendor management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong industry connections within the agriculture sector.

Estimated Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year
